I Am Me is a site unspecific play. It's a portrait of a young woman, a story about a bus and an exploration of personal space, identity and who we are to ourselves and others. And you're in it too!
I Am Me to perform in yEkaterinburg this june!
I Am Me will be part of the Kolyada Plays Festival this June. Nikolai Kolyada was playwright Alexandra Chichkanova's teacher, friend and artistic director of the theater Chichkanova was executive director of. This will be the premiere of Chichkanova's play in her town.
"I Am Me" was performed at the Golden Mask Festival this March as part of the New Play Project. The Festival included ten productions from seven countries. "I Am Me" was performed at ZIL Cultural Center and old Soviet culture house built for car factory workers and now a center where the community and professional performers and artists of all kind can study, perform or just hang out in the library. It was amazing.
